Tremco Roofing
A roofing system is one of the most important components of any building. Not only does the system protect people from the outside elements, but it is also critical to long term building performance (preventing water damage, mold growth, etc). Unfortunately, the roofing system is one of the most commonly overlooked and under maintained areas. Roof failures can disrupt productivity and can result in costly repairs.
For over 80 years, Tremco Incorporated has been a provider of roofing and weatherproofing solutions. Tremco offers one of the most comprehensive programs for the entire Building Envelope: . . . all system components and surfaces that are affected by weather: heat, cold, wind, and water or deterioration from building wear over time. This approach includes roofing and weatherproofing solutions for new construction, roofing maintenance, replacement solutions, restoration and repair services, and roofing, sealant & waterproofing materials. In 2005, Tremco partnered with Arizona State University – PBSRG, to assist Tremco in creating a continuous improvement program. The goals of this program are to:
- Educate building owners on purchasing based on value rather than just lowest cost.
- Educate contractors on best-value concepts and efficiency in construction.
- Identify value and performance of Tremco's roofing systems using 3rd party verification group.
- Collect performance information on Tremco's contractors.
- Develop a Quality Control system that is monitored by a third party verification group.
