Overview
In 2002, the Dallas Independent School District (DISD) partnered with the PBSRG to implement PIPS on nine roofing projects (due to the number of roofing issues they were having). The DISD wanted to increase competition and quality, and at the same time justify the selection of best-valued contractors. The projects were awarded 12% below the budget, and were all completed on time with very high quality.
