Project Overview |
SHEPHERD LAB ROOM 594 WILL BE RENOVATED FOR A NEW PROFESSOR. EXISTING FUME HOODS TO BE REMOVED AND NEW ONES INSTALLED PER CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS. THE UN IVERSITY WILL PURCHASE THE REPLACEMENT FUME HOODS AND CONTRACTOR WILL BE EXPECTED TO COORDINATE THEIR INSTALL INCLUDING CONNECTIONS TO THE BUILDING SYSTEMS, BALANCING AND COMMISSIONING WITH DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY AND CODES OFFICE. THE FUME HOODS WILL BE USED FOR MERCURY VAPOR CAPTURE AND CRUCIBLE CLEANING. PLEASE SEE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT DETAILS, SCOPE, INTENT. CONTRACTOR WILL ALSO COORDINATE AND OBTAIN ALL PERTINENT FUME HOOD SPECIFICATIONS AND INCLUDE THEM AS PART OF THE PROJECTS OPERATIONS AND MAITENANCE MANUAL.
This project will take place at Shepherd Lab building name, located at 100 Union Street SE. Minneapolis, MN 55455 address, in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications.
