University of Minnesota
Plant Growth Facilities West - DDC Energy Controls

Project Overview
The project goal is to complete building improvements that will reduce energy consumption and significantly reduce annual operation costs for the Greenhouses. The primary focus, building location, and area of construction, is in building #370 Horticultural Research Greenhouse - Ranges F, G, and H; however, the design could include similar, but smaller, portions of work in buildings #369 Plant Genetics Greenhouse, #415 Plant Pathology Greenhouse, and #432 Agronomy Greenhouse Classroom.
The design will focus on Lighting Control, Shade Curtains, Ridge Vent Control, Side Vent Control, and Digital Control. See attached letter, Exhibit "A", dated August 14, 2009, which provides more detail.
