Project Overview
Renovation Requirements: (6-231A)

-Remove incandescent light fixtures from ceiling and replace them with 2 x 2 surface mount fluorescent fixtures
-Paint entire room white, including the ceiling
-Install “Laser in Use” sign on door leading into room with room switch

Renovation Requirements: (6-231C)
-Install “Laser in Use” sign on door leading into room with room switch

Renovation Requirements: (6-279D)
-Provide earth ground to the room

Renovation Requirements (6-105)
-Installation of customer provided sound booth in the 6-105 area of Nils Hasselmo
-Remove existing systems furniture
-Provide (in ceiling) 120V 20 amp 60 Hz circuit to power sound booth
-Provide power cut off switch that controls sound booth on wall (exterior wall)
-Dedicated earth ground hooked to structural beam or water pipe
-Electricians time to wire booth to in ceiling power source

Renovation Requirements: (6-290)
-Remove casework (upper and lower) on north wall
-Cap service utilities on south wall
-Patch and paint south wall
-Remove lab bench/cap utilities on lab bench to the south
-Preserve sink (if possible)
-Retain desk height bench area on south wall
-Provide (in ceiling) 120V 20 amp 60 Hz circuit for power to sound booth
-Provide new power switch on north wall to activate power within booth
-Dedicated earth ground hooked to structural beam or water pipe
-Electricians time to wire booth to in ceiling power source

Installation of sound booth in 6-115/117 Testing room 6-121

-Remove wall between rooms 6-115 and 6-117
-Patch floor where wall removal occurred
-Install 6” circular conduit pass thru on wall between rooms 6-117 and 6-121; 3 feet high from floor, 3 feet away from south wall.
-Patch and paint rooms 6-115 and 117
-Relocate shielded sound booth from Shepard lab, 2nd floor [by vendor, cost not included in the above]
-Provide (in ceiling) 120V 20 amp 60 Hz circuit to power sound booth
-Install multiple outlet power strips on north, south and west walls
-Install instrumentation ground on south wall (rooms 115/117 and 121)
-Install etherjack connections on north, south and west walls of rooms 115/117 and 121
-Electricians time to wire booth to in ceiling power source
-Patch ceiling where wall was removed
-Provide power cut off switch on wall that controls sound booth (corridor wall)
-Provide dedicated earth ground to sound booth in 6-115/117
-Remove shelves on the walls of 121, 115, 117

Testing room 118:
-Remove shelves on east wall; Remove furniture from the room, except for one desk and 2 chairs

Computer server room 129:
-Remove the coat racks on the wall, install 4 power outlets (L5-15P connectors (120V) on one wall, 4 regular power outlets on the other wall; install 4 etherjack connections each on both walls
-Provide cooling to maintain temperature with continuous server operation.
-Replace sink to increased width of 20 inches, and add high water spray, both hot and cold water (if possible, leave the storage cabinet above the sink).

Renovation Requirements: (Convert rooms 6-241A, 241B to one single room)
-Demolish wall between rooms 6-241 and 6-241A
-Cap all services lines that run through demolished wall
-Patch floor where wall was demolished with matching vinyl tile
-Add “Laser in Use” sign on each door leading into the newly created room
-Install etherjack outlet on center of north wall at 48” from floor
-Add compressed air outlets in room
-Install the shelves from the East wall, Room 6-261A, which will be demolished, on the East wall of Room 6-241A
-Provide 208V electrical service for laser unit
(Keep the shelves on West wall)

Renovation Requirements: (Convert 6-211A, 6-211B to a single room)
-Demolish wall between rooms 6-211A and 6-211B
-Cap all service lines that run through demolished wall
-Patch floor where wall was demolished with matching vinyl tile
-Add “Laser in Use” sign on door leading into the newly created room with room switch
-Supply overhead powerstrip in center of room on ceiling above optical table (from 390Shepard) Four 15 amp circuits.
-Install etherjack connection on south wall, east corner at 48” from floor
-Furnish and install base cabinet, counter top, and shelves on east and west walls
-Install 208V electrical outlet on south wall at 18” from floor
-Install 110V power outlets along east and west walls at 32” above floor

Renovation Requirements: (6-211)
-Demolish existing half wall (south)
-Construct new wall 36”(if possible) further south and all the way up to the ceiling
-Paint wall
-Patch floor with matching vinyl tile where wall was demolished
-Install a new doorway into 6-211
-Add “Laser in Use” sign on door leading into room with room switch
-Furnish and install base cabinet, counter top, and shelves on east and west walls
-Supply overhead power strip in center of room on ceiling above optical table location. Four 15 amp circuits.
-Provide 208 electrical service to supply laser North wall, center, 18” from floor. (Electrical receptacle requirements for laser = L620)
