Project Overview |
The project intent is to modify or repair the existing exterior 25' x 25' raised patio so that water stops leaking into the building below. The existing patio has a 6' overhang, which is unheated below, resulting in ice-dam buildup, contributing to the water infiltration problems. The existing railings at the east main entry of Gortner Lab do not meet existing building code requirements, and should be modified as part of this project. Water damage to wall, ceilings, and structure below should be repaired. An existing interior double-door below will need to be replaced because of the existing water damage.
