Barker Dance Center - Replace Dance Floors

Project Overview
The replacement of the dance floors has been divided into two phases. Contractor is requested to submit proposal for the work for Phase I and an alternate for Phase II; see schedule below.
BASE BID – Construction (December 19, 2008 to January 16, 2009).
Phase I – Replace dance floor in Room 300. a) Remove existing dance floor and sprung floor assembly. b) Apply liquid vapor barrier to existing concrete floor. c) Construct new sprung floor assembly. d) Install resilient sheet vinyl dance floor and base.
Phase II – Construction (Summer of 2009)
Phase II – Replace dance floors in Room 200 and Room 100. a) Remove existing dance floor and sprung floor assembly. b) Apply liquid vapor barrier to existing concrete floor. c) Construct new sprung floor assembly. d) Install resilient sheet vinyl dance floor and base.
