Municipal Operations Center (MOC)

Project Overview
This project is located at 8850 No. 79th Avenue (south of Olive Avenue) in Peoria, Arizona. There is an existing Municipal Operations Center (MOC) which houses operations for the Public Works Department, Utilities Department, Parks and Landscape Maintenance, Materials Management, and ancillary spaces in support of other City Departments.

The MOC was opened in 1987 and is being used to capacity under the current conditions. The Municipal Operations Center primary function is in support of field operations, maintenance services, parts and materials storage, and vehicular parking as well as employee and visitor parking. The existing site is approximately twenty (20) acres surrounded on all sides by a masonry screen wall. Three (3) additional acres will be added to the site. There are three (3) primary occupied buildings on the site including the Administration Offices, Warehouse Building and Fleet Maintenance and Transit Operations. In addition, there is a modular building, fueling station and ten individual fenced lay down and storage yards and miscellaneous minor structures.
