Project Overview
The Butler Drive Water Reclamation Facility (Butler WRF) is a proposed new plant with a treatment capacity equal to 10 million gallon per day (MGD). The facility will be located on a 36-acre parcel of land at the Northwest Corner of 79th Avenue and Butler Drive. The treatment process will be a membrane bio-reactor (MBR) and will use submerged Zenon “zee-weed” membranes. Solids processing will also be done on-site using centrifuges to de-water the sludge. The work will include all treatment processes , support facilities, buildings, and all site improvements including, all utilities, fencing, paving for the west side of 79th Avenue, curb, gutter sidewalk, street lights, landscaping and all onsite landscaping.

In addition an off-site pump station will be constructed at 101st Avenue and Northern Avenue. This will divert the flow from the existing regional sewer interceptor and send these to the new Butler WRF. The connecting pipelines are anticipated to be bid separately. The work include the pump station, support facilities, buildings, and all site improvements including, roadway access to Northern Avenue, all utilities, fencing, and all landscaping.
