U.S. GSA

U.S. GSA
Security Fence

Project Overview
The work will consist of design and construction to provide an iron fence to totally enclose the employee parking lot. The fence will need to be high enough to discourage unauthorized individuals from scaling the fence. It will need to include two separate sliding vehicle gates, one at each end of the parking lot, on the west and east ends. Smaller sliding gates are preferred, which would be a total of four (4) sliding gates, two at each end of the parking lot. The entry at each gate will need to be controlled by remote clickers carried by the employees with parking privileges in the lot, and the exit should be controlled automatically by exiting vehicles driving over a loop embedded in the ground in front of the gate. Two separate pedestrian gates shall be provided, one at each end of the parking lot, for employee pedestrian access which will be controlled by GSA issued keycards, and tied into the existing GSA keycard access at the facility. The design of the fence will require coordination with the parking garage below. The design will be required to be coordinated with and approved by the Historical Society due to the building's historical nature and registry. The project will consist entirely of Tenant Improvement work and includes, but is not limited to site work, landscaping, concrete, masonry, fencing and gates, electrical, and security system.
