Sicco Santema |
| Sicco Santema (1960) combines academic life with counseling Dutch organizations. He is professor, holding 2 chairs at Delft University of Technology: Aerospace management & organization and Business to Business Marketing at the Department of Industrial Design. His main focus is on supply chain improvement from both purchasing and marketing perspective. During 2001-2005 he also held the E-Business Marketing and Procurement chair at the faculty of Business Administration of the Technical University Eindhoven. These activities are now integrated in the chair in Delft. Sicco Santema is also managing director and co-founder of Scenter, a Dutch management consulting firm. From his background in technology management and fiscal law he mainly works on building strategies for industrial firms, developing services and augmentations around the core products to optimize value chains. He is focusing on making introvert companies extravert. On the one side the market-oriented power of companies need to be enhanced, on the other side the operational performance of the companies must be improved (consequently). Sicco has written numerous papers and is co-author and co-editor of numerous books on marketing and procurement. He is a renowned expert on waste in value chains. Sicco is, together with Jeroen van de Rijt, the Dutch focal point for CIB-W117. |
