| With over 23 years in the industry, Professor Roper has broad experience in the multi-faceted specialties of Facility Management and Corporate Real Estate which she brings to the Integrated Facility and Property Management graduate program at Georgia Institute of Technology. Working for Sprint Communications, Financial Service Corporation, U.S. General Services Administration and The American Cancer Society provided her wide experiences with corporate, government and non-profit business models, which she incorporates into her teaching and research.
Active involvement in the professional arena is an important role for Professor Roper. Her volunteer efforts reflect her dedication to the Facility Management profession and provide opportunities to enhance the learning for members within the industry, as well as for her to interact with local corporate executives and professionals to learn the latest trends, innovations and expectations for this industry.
Professor Roper is a presenter at international industry conferences, providing leading edge information within the facility and property management community.
