Main research and development results:

  • Establishment of the foreign project and operations data banks for the two Asso-ciations of General Contractors and Consulting Firms in Finland
  • Co-design of strategic planning systems for Finnish construction-related corporations
  • Co-design of a spearhead strategy for entering a new market in the EU countries
  • Strategies and policies for developing the competitiveness of the six Finland-based firm groups vis-à-vis international capital (construction) investment markets
  • Regrouping of the eight schools of thought in generic business management, exposure of a population of 84 competence-related business-management concepts published between 1990-2002, and a strategy for advancing this research area toward 2010
  • Definition of construction-related management research, the exposure of a population of 38 construction-related business-management concepts (applications) published between 1990-2002, and recommendations for advancing this research toward 2010
