Peggy Ferrin is currently employed with the City of Peoria, Arizona as a Contract Officer. Past purchasing experience has been with the School Districts here in Arizona, as a Contract Specialist developing invitation for bids, requests for proposals, statements of qualifications, construction managers at risk solicitations, quotes and all aspects of procurement for school districts.
Back ground in Accounting and business planning. Decided to try teaching in 1994 for a few years and moved to the administrative side (Purchasing) in 2000. Owner of Arizona Jet Ski & Marine from 1985-1996.
Past President (2006), V/President (2005) of the Greater Phoenix Purchasing Consortium (GPPCS), member of Arizona Association of Business Officials (AASBO), Secretary of the Arizona Capital Chapter, National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), and National Committee member.
