Fred DiNapoli |
| Fred DiNapoli joined Harkins in Spring 2007; he oversees 30 buildings estimated about 1 million square footage. His staff consists of 10 techs, janitorial team, and vendor selection. Harkins Theaters has been in operation since 1933, and continues to grow in the Valley of the Sun. Prior to Harkins, Fred DiNapoli worked for Varsity Contractors, Inc since January 2001 in two different capacities. First as an Operations Director at Metrocenter Mall in Phoenix, Arizona. The position touched every aspect of facilities from construction to repairs, abatement, landscaping, maintenance, HVAC, and dealing with the power company on a weekly basis. The second position with Varsity was an Area Operation Manager position. He managed seven regional malls in Southern California and Arizona three of which were located in the Phoenix market. It was the same responsibilities as an operation director position, but times seven.
Before Varsity, he was the Store General Manager for Sears, Roebuck & Company in Las Cruces, New Mexico for 28 years. The position before Store General Manager was District Facilities and Operations Manager which he did for ten years. Fred traveled between five states, and was responsible for 40 mainline stores, and 20 product service, Sears Bank, and Great Indoors facilities. He was one of the founding managers that started the district program for facilities at Sears. They saved Sears hundreds of millions of dollars in cost take outs in energy savings, preventive maintenance, construction projects, electrical and energy audits. |
