| Mr. Davis is responsible for assisting in managing the firm’s human resources and support services to successfully complete each project on time and within the budget. He has fiscal responsibilities including fee negotiations, client satisfaction, and overall quality of product delivery. Mr. Davis has served as project manager for numerous design projects including those for the City of Kansas City (Parks and Recreation, Aviation, Public Works, and Water Services); all federal contracts with the Veterans Administration, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Department of Defense; and State of Missouri-Design and Construction. Mr. Davis also directs the new business development functions for Custom Engineering. He has over 13 years experience in sales and engineering with a Fortune 500 company prior to becoming a principal of Custom Engineering. In the capacity of Account Representative for a Fortune 500 company, Mr. Davis increased, maintained, and effectively organized sales over a multi-state region. He conducted regular technical seminars and meetings with distributors and end-users in a consultative role. He advised customers on technical product applications and techniques. Mr. Davis has won awards for his contributions to distributor growth and profitability. As a technical service engineer, Mr. Davis recommended product improvements through field tests, problem solving, and critical observations. He provided sales, marketing, and research departments with technical product information to be used in marketing strategies and new product development. |
