PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT

As the Manager of Tenant and Site Services at the Scottsdale Site, I am responsible to ensure all janitorial, landscaping, and SWAT services are consistently performed at a level necessary for the successful operation of the buildings and satisfaction of the occupants. Additionally, I am responsible for the food services that include the main cafeterias, satellite cafeterias, and all catering for the site. I am also responsible for the site transportation and mail services. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing specific department budget line items, labor charging, construction, new equipment installations, safety compliance, environmental compliance, and compliance of all applicable construction codes. I am responsible for managing and supporting General Dynamics' cash flow and EBIT financial goals. I also support GDC4S asset responsibilities and dispositioning tasks.

PROJECT MANAGER, MOTOROLA IISG
May, 1994 to March, 2001 -

Responsible for planning, organizing, executing, and controlling all projects assigned to me. My position included integrating the work efforts of various Facilities Operations functions and contractor support services to achieve the project goals initiated by our customers. The management of projects involves coordinating the efforts of various functional areas and integrating the planning and control of costs, schedules, and work tasks. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: organizing and selection of project teams, interfacing with project constituencies and stakeholders (functional managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, customers, upper level management), monitoring the project status, project safety, and timely closure of projects. Competencies that need to be demonstrated in my position are: Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Resource Management, Risk Management, Quality Management, Contract Management, and Communications Management. Activities include determining project goals and objectives, developing work-breakdown structures, change control, scheduling with Gantt and milestone charts, cost estimating, budget processes, managing conflict, motivating resources, team building, identifying and planning for risk, monitoring quality, contract and procurement processes, and using effective communication methods and tools. As a team member of the Facilities organization, I supported and worked to achieve the goals established by Motorola, the Facilities department, and the Construction Services team.
